I am a huge fan of Sisley masks. They are up there with the most effective products in my skincare arsenal. Joining the likes of the brilliant Black Rose mask, Velvet Sleeping Mask and the Express Flower Gel mask is a brand new hero! The new Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask is all about smooth and radiant skin in 1 minute and I have been putting it to the test.

What is Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask?

Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask Review

This is such a cool mask because it comes as a powder and you mix it with a splash of water to activate it.

Sisley have formulated this as a powder because the special papain ingredient is particularly unstable and quickly loses its properties when it comes into contact with water. Having a powder form ensures it is fresh and potent when you activate it and use it. This not only makes it fun, but it means it’s excellent for travel as it’s liquid-free.

The Sisley Exfoliating Enzyme Mask is the brand’s first exfoliating mask and it only takes a minute to work. It doesn’t mess around! If you want to boost radiance and even out skin tone quickly, this is the one to grab.

My Review

Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask After Photo

I have been really enjoying using this new Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask as part of my weekly routine. I was lucky enough to get an early sample and have been testing it out for a couple of months.

What I love about it is how easy, quick and fuss-free it is to use and how soft and smooth my skin feels immediately after. It’s also really illuminating which I am all about!

Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask – How to Mix It

The enzymes in the formula very softly lift away dead skin cells and debris, while the powders deep clean without stripping.

Straight after, my skin feels smooth to the touch, and I also think it’s does a very good job of minimising the look of enlarged pores and really boosting radiance. I think that’s down to the combination of the cleansing action to really clean out the pores, and the Niacinamide which is amazing for pore size and skin texture, which combine to make skin much more luminous and reflective.

Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask blended with water

The texture of the Sisley Exfoliating Enzyme Mask feels really gentle on the skin, and I love that you can tailor the consistency to suit you, depending on how much water you add. I start slowly and add in tiny droplets of water until I am happy with the texture.

I apply it like a mask, and leave it on for a minute and then rinse it away. Because it’s only a minute-long treatment, I was half expecting it to maybe tingle or sting on my skin, but it’s so gentle. The formula is definitely very respectful of the skin barrier and again, the Niacinamide will do wonders to help support the protective barrier.

The blend of very fine powders and enzymes offer the perfect combination of exfoliation. The enzymes gently loosen dead skin, and the fine cleansing powder softly whisk them away. Job done! There’s an instant glow, and straight away I can feel a real smoothness to my skin.

I find that my serums and moisturisers sink in beautifully after using this which makes my skin look extra glowy. It is also amazing to use before my fave Sisley Paris Black Rose Mask*, and the two of them together give the most plumped up, hydrated and radiant skin.

Is an enzyme mask an exfoliant?

Enzymes in skincare do the job of exfoliation but without any physical scrubbing element. Enzyme exfoliation gently melt down the bonds that attach dead cells to the skin, and help speed up the skin’s natural exfoliation process.

How often should you use the Sisley Exfoliating Enzyme Mask?

This mask is gently enough to use 1-2 times a week.

How do you use the Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask?

The mask is really easy to use. You simply pore a small amount of powder into the palm of your hand and then add a little bit of water and mix it into a foaming cream. You then apply to the skin and leave for one minute before rinsing away.

Is the Sisley Paris Exfoliating Enzyme Mask suitable for sensitive skin?

Sisley have formulated this product to work on all skin types including sensitive.
