Below, learn more about some of the people behind your favorite Everlywell products, their-day to-day routines in the lab, and what drew them towards a career in healthcare.

What kind of work do you do at the lab?
I am a part of a team that processes and analyzes samples that come into the lab.
What do you enjoy about working in the healthcare field?
I enjoy working in the healthcare field because I know I am surrounded by people who want to make a difference in another’s life.
What is your favorite part about being a part of the Everlywell Diagnostics team?
My favorite part about working with the Everlywell Diagnostics team are all the different types of people I am surrounded by. We aren’t just science nerds! We are artists, students, and so much more than just a lab coat. I love deep diving into someone else’s passions and learning something new. Thankful to have such diverse coworkers!
What’s your title and which lab do you work in?
Lead Certifying Scientist at Everlywell Diagnostics Dallas
What kind of work do you do at the lab?
My team and I are responsible for the Mass Spectrometry department which processes Testosterone, Heavy Metals, and Sleep and Stress tests. We operate and maintain these instruments along with certifying and releasing the results.
What do you enjoy about working in the healthcare field?
I love being part of others’ health and wellness journey. I struggled with my weight throughout high school weighing in at 280 lbs at my heaviest. I was able to get the weight off thanks to a little bit of education and hard work. I believe the tests offered here can improve people’s lives in a similar way. Just a little bit of education and guidance can empower you to get on the right track towards changing your life.
What is your favorite part about being a part of the Everlywell Diagnostics team?
I love the team that we have here at EwDX Dallas! Trying to manage a rapidly growing start-up lab is no joke but the team has consistently risen up to the challenge and made a lot of improvements along the way. We still have a lot of work to do but I have the utmost faith in the team that we are putting together here!
What’s your title and which lab do you work in?
Senior Medical Lab Technologist at Everlywell Diagnostics Dallas
What kind of work do you do at the lab?
My department is responsible for carrying out sample preparation and laboratory duties. I also assist the R&D department with developing projects.
What do you enjoy about working in the healthcare field?
It excites me how the field is always changing and gearing towards new innovative techniques for patient care. I can relate to patients’ about their health concerns so it’s a rewarding feeling to be able to help with relieving some of those stresses.
What is your favorite part about being a part of the Everlywell Diagnostics team?
Everyone I work with is unique and good at different things. Being a small work environment, I’ve been able to establish great friendships. We all enjoy what we do and have fun doing it.
What’s your title and which lab do you work in?
Research & Development Technologist at Everlywell Diagnostics Chicago
What kind of work do you do at the lab?
The R&D team in EDx Chicago conducts experiments that aid in the development of in vitro diagnostics/ laboratory developed tests. We also conduct experiments to improve existing products and lab processing procedures. Aside from experiments, we assist the clinical chemistry department by making solutions, setting up instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
What do you enjoy about working in the healthcare field?
I believe that healthcare is the intersection of compassionate care and science. By working in healthcare, I enjoy knowing that I am part of a field interested in improving and putting the health of others first.
What is your favorite part about being a part of the Everlywell Diagnostics team?
My favorite part of the Everlywell Diagnostic team is that I get to work with incredible, passionate people. I feel like I learn something new every day, and I am grateful that I am in an environment that allows me to grow both personally and professionally.
