Meet Model and Business Woman Samantha Bass. Let’s see what she is all about!
MIHM-Tell us a little bit about you, where are you from and what inspired you to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
SB-I was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut I attended Hartford Public Schools – Simpson Waverly, Fox Middle, and Weaver High School c/o 1990. I grew up in a single parent household raised by my beautiful, kind, caring, loving, and strong mother Rose Wright Bass. My mother raised me by herself, with God’s help! I had a couple of baby sitters when I was little while my mother went to work but if my mother wasn’t at work, she was home providing for her family. I get my strength and determination from my mother.
I did my first fashion show when I was 7 years old! From that day I always believed that I would be a Top Model. My mother believed in me and that was all the support I needed to accomplish my goals in life. My Top Model resume includes: John Casablancas c/o 2009, Top Model Worldwide (London, UK), ALL Ladies League (Delhi, India), Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, Who’s Who In The World/Who’s Who In America, and Hollywood! I became a Worldwide Top Model without an agent or agency representation. I also became a Hollywood Cover Girl without an agent. I am proud of my accomplishments! Special thanks to Magic Image Hollywood Magazine for introducing me to Hollywood in 2020 and for the opportunity to be featured on the cover of the August 2022 issue!

MIHM-Define what success means to you?

SB-I love spending time with my mother Rose Wright Bass. She’s my rock! I love listening to her tell me stories about our family and her college years. Yes, my family is growing! We have a new addition to the family! My beautiful granddaughter Camryn has arrived! I am so blessed and thankful. I recently celebrated 50, my granddaughter was the perfect gift! In closing I just want to take this opportunity to acknowledge my beautiful grandma Eloise Wright, I know she’s in Heaven watching over me. I love you grandma!
