Netflix has revealed the name of the apparent primary antagonist in Stranger Things 4.
The road to Stranger Things 4 has been a long and bumpy one. The series was originally going to be released in early 2021 but production delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic continuously delayed it. Now a hard release date has finally been set and the beginning of the end will soon start.
Earlier today, Netflix dropped the first trailer for Stranger Things 4, which revealed some kind of war was coming, as well as showing the creature that they would be battling against. In the first season, they battled a single monster with seasons 2 and 3 pitting the protagonists against a creature they called the Mind Flayer. Now it appears that the fourth season has a new, humanoid antagonist. Now we know the character’s name.
In a recent post, one of Netflix’s Twitter accounts revealed that the antagonist for the upcoming season is called Vecna, though it did not give away any more details as to who or what it was. You can see the full post below:
