Formula Overview
$24.00/0.25 oz. – $96.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have “opaque” coverage for matte shades and “sheer” coverage for shimmer shades, while drying down to a “smooth, comfortable, transfer-proof finish.” They are fairly long-wearing (10 to 12 hours), but the matte shades wore better (more consistently toward 12 hours) and were less prone to flaking.
I found the matte shades also applied more evenly and felt less clingy on areas like lips. The shimmers had a tendency to apply unevenly, both in actual coverage/spread but also in physical thickness, which was particularly noticeable on cheeks and lips.
The formula was smooth, lightweight, and spreadable overall with a quick enough dry down time that it didn’t feel like everything settled int fine lines before it had time to dry down. Once the formula dried down, it was long-wearing and transfer-proof.
I think the formula worked best on the eyes, aned then some of the matte shades could be used on the cheeks but were best applied with a dampened sponge to avoid over-application and ensuring blendability. I did not like the formula on lips as it had a tendency to “crack” on dry down and shimmer shades flaked off, plus it felt clingy and somewhat drying.
