“Black Ink Crew” Star Ceaser Emanuel Has Been Fired From VH1 After A Video Surfaced Of Him Allegedly Abusing Dogs
VH1’s “Black Ink Crew” star Ceaser Emanuel, 43, has been fired from the show and the network after a video surfaced of him allegedly abusing dogs.
A spokesperson for VH1 released a statement Thursday (Jan. 23) addressing the matter. They wrote:
“We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season.”
Sources close to the situation say they are wrapping up production, but keeping it open in order to properly address the situation in the show. Sources say producers of the show also found the viral video appalling.
Black Ink Crew longtime cast member, Donna Lombardi, quickly commented under the posts with a handclap emoji, seemingly approving of the network’s decision. Lombardi appears to be the one who brought the disturbing video to light when she reposted it on her Instagram page Wednesday (Jun.22). In her caption, she called Ceaser Emanuel a sick person and a monster and wanted him to be cancelled. She wrote:
“If you can treat a dog like this, it shows how sick of a person you truly are. I don’t even get into the life of this man, but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE animals. Especially dogs.”
Donna continued,
“Even after he beat his daughter up, @[email protected]_intl & the new @blackinkcrew producers tried to protect Ceaser, even made up fake conflicting storylines about my relationship to do it! Now this, cannot be undone. I pray the people see you, @ceaserblackink , as the monster you are. Your karma has been adding up for years, but to do this to an innocent dog!?! This is crazy. CHARGES NEED TO BE PRESSED, and CANCELLATIONS NEED TO BE MADE! THE WORLD IS WATCHING! EVERYONE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! CANT CHANGE THIS NARRATIVE!”
The now viral video appears to show Ceaser Emanuel using profanity toward a dog and hitting it multiple times with a metal chair. Fans were instantly disturbed by the video, many calling for him to be fired.
