Wendy Williams Never Leaves Home, Source Claims: She is sitting in her house, she isn’t taking meetings, she isn’t going out, there is no plan.
It looks like Wendy Williams‘ mental health is still on the decline.
A source close to the former TV host claims she doesn’t leave her house and has no recollection of anything. There are also no plans for her to return to the big screen—and she would need tremendous support if she did. According to the source,
“She can’t remember anything, she needs a teleprompter and she needs someone there to remind her of things.”
They added,
“She is sitting in her house, she isn’t taking meetings, she isn’t going out, there is no plan.”
The Wendy Williams Show recently ended after 13 years on air, and the namesake wasn’t involved in the final episode. Wendy Williams missed the entire final season of the talk show due to health difficulties, including Graves disease, an autoimmune ailment.
While it was reported that Williams would be honored with a video tribute on the June 17 finale, her ex-husband Kevin Hunter called it a “travesty” she was not included in physical form.
He said,
“I feel like it is a travesty on the part of Debmar-Mercury to have such an unceremonious departure without Wendy being involved.”
He added,
“It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years….There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn’t happen.”
Sherri Shepherd, who served as a guest host during the show’s season, will now be the face of her her own talk show titled “Sherri.” It will air in the time slot once held by Wendy Williams.
