19 Kids and Counting alum Josh Duggar made headlines in April 2021 when he was arrested in Arkansas on two counts of child pornography charges. The reality star pleaded not guilty in his arraignment hearing later that month.
On December 9, 2021, Duggar was found guilty of two charges of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material, In Touch previously confirmed. His sentencing was originally scheduled for April 5, 2022. However, In Touch can confirm the former TV personality’s sentencing had been rescheduled to May 25 at 9:30 a.m. in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Four years later, 19 Kids and Counting (then titled 17 Kids and Counting) began on TLC, which also starred Josh and the rest of his large family. He stopped appearing on the show in 2014, though it did not end until the following year.

The former car dealer also previously served as the executive director of the Family Research Center’s Action Arm, a lobbying firm based out of Washington D.C. — however, in 2015, he resigned from his position with the conservative organization.
Josh Duggar’s Arrest and Legal Troubles
in May 2015, In Touch reported that Josh had been accused of molesting five underage girls between 2002 and 2003, when he was a teenager. Several of the victims were his sisters. As more details about the case emerged, TLC canceled the Duggar family’s reality show Counting On.
Josh’s child pornography trial stemming from his April 2021 arrest began on November 30, 2021. Six days later, he was found guilty.
